Brandi M. Stewart Joins SORTA Board
Brandi M. Stewart, an attorney at Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK), was named to the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s board of trustees on Dec. 18, 2012.CINCINNATI – Brandi M. Stewart, an attorney in the litigation department of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL (KMK), was named to the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority’s board of trustees on December 18, 2012. Stewart practices primarily in the areas of tort and commercial litigation and product liability defense. She currently serves on the Ohio State Bar Association Board of Governors. Stewart was named a 2012 Ohio Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers and a 2008 YWCA Rising Star. She has previously served on Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory’s Young Professional Kitchen Cabinet where she was the Chair of the Parents and Young Families Committee, and she was a participant in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s C-Change Program, Class IV. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2007, and her B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 2004. Stewart currently resides in Corryville. The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is governed by a 13-member volunteer citizens’ board of trustees. Seven trustees are appointed by the City of Cincinnati and six are appointed by Hamilton County. Hamilton County appoints three of its own trustees and one each representing Butler, Clermont and Warren counties. Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year. # # #
