Cincinnati Metro's CEO Selected for Leadership Cincinnati
Terry Garcia Crews, CEO and General Manager of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, was recently named to Leadership Cincinnati Class 36.Terry Garcia Crews, CEO and General Manager of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority that operates Metro service in Cincinnati, was recently named to Leadership Cincinnati Class 36. Leadership Cincinnati is the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s preeminent leadership development program, which provides participants a broad view of civic leadership through direct contact with a wide variety of institutions and people, and stimulates concern for the quality of life in the region. Garcia Crews was one of 54 individuals chosen to participate in this highly competitive program, which represents the region’s top level of leadership. Participants were selected based on demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to the community. A transit professional with more than 20 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, Garcia Crews has served at Metro since Nov. 1, 2010. She has been actively involved with the American Public Transportation Association as a regional board director and a member of several key committees. She is a board member of Downtown Cincinnati Inc. (DCI) and OKI Regional Council of Governments.
