Downtown Construction — Starting April 11

On Friday, April 11 at 6pm through Sunday, Vine will be closed at Central Parkway. Learn more about this and other upcoming downtown construction. While Central Parkway traffic will still be able to move to some extent, turns to/from Vine will not be possible and Vine movements across Central Parkway will not be possible. The closure on Vine Street at Central Parkway will affect the following routes, and detours will be put into place on Friday at 6 pm until notification on Sunday: RTS. 46 & 78, outbound: Via-Vine, L-Court, R-Elm,R-12th, L-Vine RT 20, outbound: Via-Vine, L-Court, R-Elm, L-Central Pkwy (Sat only, no service on Sunday) On Monday, April 14, Walnut will be closed down to one lane for daytime work (9a-4p) between 7th and 6th. Walnut will be closed Saturday, April 19 from 8am-6pm. Metro will be given special access to GS areas A-C through reverse running on Walnut from 5th into GS. On Tuesday, April 15, Elm & Henry will be closed from 10am-2pm for rail delivery and unloading. Starting in June, the intersection of 12th and Race will be completely shut down for installation of the diamond and turnout plant. This will last several months.
