To raise the awareness of the cost savings Eastgate commuters can realize by riding Metro instead of driving for their daily commute, Metro employees will be at the following locations to award prizes, share bus information with new customers and long-time bus riders, and give everyone the chance to enter Metro’s “Money Grab” contest with a grand prize worth up to $4,500 cash, provided by Cricket Wireless: Union Township Library, 4462 Mount Carmel Tobasco Road (map), Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1 – 3 p.m. Union Township Civic Center park & ride, 4350 Aicholtz (map), Thursday, Aug. 4, 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. Riders can park for free at the Union Township Civic Center park & ride, located at 4350 Aicholtz Rd., near the Eastgate Biggs store. The fare is $3.00 one-way, directly to or from downtown Cincinnati. A monthly pass provides unlimited rides for $120. The Rt. 82X is funded by Clermont County. Money Grab contest: Local commuters can save $4,500 or more a year by riding Metro. As a fun reminder of the savings, Metro has partnered with Cricket Wireless to give three contest winners the chance to grab up to $4,500 in cash this summer. The Money Grab contest, sponsored by Cricket Wireless, will run through Aug. 19, 2011. No public or Metro funds are being used for the Money Grab. Entries can be submitted at www.go-metro.com.
