McMicken Avenue Closure Detours

Rts. 31, 64 and some Metro XTRA Service routes will detour on McMicken from Freeman Ave. to Straight Street. Beginning April 30, McMicken Avenue will be closed to through traffic, including Metro buses, from Freeman Avenue to Straight Street. This closure is expected to last about three months. This closure will mean that Metro Rts. 31, 64 and some Metro Xtra Service routes will be required to detour. Rt.31 Westbound Via McMillan L- Central Pkwy R- Linn Rt.31 Eastbound Via Linn L- Central Pkwy R-McMillan Rt.64 Inbound Via Marshal R- Central Pkwy L- Mohawk R- McMicken Rt.64 Outbound Via McMicken L- Mohawk R- Central Pkwy L- Marshal XTRA Service will also use Central Parkway. Metro bus stop signs along the closed portion of McMicken will be removed while the road is closed.
