Metro Offers FREE Rides to New Riders
New riders can try Metro free during First*Ride Fridays at park & rides.CINCINNATI – Metro riders already know how much money, time and stress can be saved by taking the bus, now new riders can experience the many benefits of leaving the driving to Metro – and the first ride’s free! Metro representatives will be visiting several park & rides this summer for First*Ride Fridays with live broadcasts, giveaways, free rides and more with local radio stations Warm 98, Q102, WGRR, The Wiz, and 94.9 on the following dates between 5:45 a.m. – 9 a.m.: May 29 – Colerain Mejier, 3711 Stone Creek Blvd. with Warm 98 June 5 – Fields Ertel Meijer, 3911 W SR22-3 with Q102 June 26 – Harrison Center, 10553 Harrison Ave. with WGRR July 10 – Forest Park, 1160 Kemper Meadow with The WIZ Aug. 7 – Harrison Center, 10553 Harrison Ave. with the New 94.9 Aug. 21– Colerain Meijer, 3711 Stone Creek Blvd. with WGRR Sept. 18 – Fields Ertel Meijer, 3911 W SR22-3 with Warm 98 First time riders To get your free ride, on the Monday prior to the First Ride Friday visit the website of the radio station listed for that day to register online, print off your voucher and bring it with you to the park & ride to redeem for two free ride Metro tickets. Metro is a non-profit, tax-funded public service of the Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority, providing about 17 million rides per year.
