Metro Offers World Choir Games Transportation Options

It’s too hot to walk! World Choir Games attendees and volunteers are encouraged to ride Metro for an easy and air conditioned trip to the performance venues.CINCINNATI – It’s too hot to walk! World Choir Games attendees and volunteers are encouraged to ride Metro for an easy and air conditioned trip to the performance venues. Thousands rode Metro’s Downtown Circulator Shuttle on July 4. Through July 14, the Downtown Circulator Shuttle will run every 10 minutes to various downtown performance locations. The Downtown Circulator Shuttle is $0.50 each way for regular passengers, and it is free for World Choir Games participants with special passes. Downtown Circulator Shuttle hours are 8:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. through July 8. No Downtown Circulator Shuttle service will be provided on July 9. Service will be 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. on July 10, 8:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. on July 11 and 12, and 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. on July 13. A modified Downtown Circulator Shuttle will be available on July 14 for the Closing Ceremony. Metro’s other services will also benefit volunteers and attendees. Metro’s Rt. 85 Riverfront Parking Shuttle provides service between riverfront parking lots and the central business district downtown. During the World Choir Games, the Rt. 85 has extended hours. Monday through Friday, the service will start at 5:43 a.m. and will run until 7:45 p.m. On Saturdays, it will run from 8:30 a.m. until 11:11 p.m., and on Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. until 6:12 p.m. The cost for the Rt. 85 shuttle is $0.50 each way.
