Metro to provide $0.50 fare on Rt. 46 to Macy's Kids, Culture, Critters & Crafts Festival on July 20

Reduced fare on Metro’s Rt. 46 Avondale on July 20 only.CINCINNATI – Metro is partnering with Learning Through Art, Inc. to provide the reduced fares on Metro’s Rt. 46 Avondale bus to the 2016 Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. On Wednesday, July 20, all rides on the Rt. 46 only will be $0.50 each way ($1 round trip) during the festival, which runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The zoo is also offering $1 general admission between 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Learning Through Art, Inc. is a local organization that promotes arts education in the community. This is the 11th year for the event, which is a day of education and inspiration to support early childhood literacy. The event includes family-friendly entertainment celebrating cultures through world music and artists, as well as puppetry and other activities at one of the nation’s top zoos and the area’s number one regional tourist destination.
