Metro to Provide $.50 Rides on Rt. 46 to Macy's Kids Festival July 16
Metro is partnering with Learning Through Art, Inc. to provide reduced fare on Rt. 46 Avondale for the Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. On Wednesday, July 16, all rides on the Rt. 46 only will be $0.50 each way ($1 round trip) during the Festival, which runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.mCINCINNATI – Metro is partnering with Learning Through Art, Inc. to provide reduced fare on Rt. 46 Avondale for the Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. On Wednesday, July 16, all rides on the Rt. 46 only will be $0.50 each way ($1 round trip) during the Festival, which runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Musicians Sylvain Acher and Paul Patterson will perform on one complete round trip starting at 10 a.m. Macy’s Kids, Cultures, Critters and Crafts Festival is a partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo and Learning Through Art, Inc., which features general admission to the Zoo for just $1 from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. The event includes family-friendly entertainment celebrating cultures through world music and artists, as well as puppetry and other activities at one of the nation’s top zoos and the area’s number one regional tourist destination. This year Learning Through Art and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital have partnered to create the Cincinnati Children’s Kids Wellness Zone, bringing hands-on interactive activities for kids of all ages.
