Metro's Summer Service Changes Start on June 3

Metro’s regular summer service changes will go into effect on June 3. New schedules for Rts. 3X, 14X, 24, 27, 29X, 30X, 32, 64, 67, 71X, 75X, 77X, 78.Reduced fare, more service all summer for Rt. 71 Kings Island jobs service CINCINNATI –Metro’s regular summer service changes will go into effect on June 3. This will include minor running time adjustments on some routes to better serve our customers. New schedules will be in effect for the following routes: Rt. 3X Montgomery Road Rt. 14X Forest Park Express Rt. 24 Anderson – UC Rt. 27 Northside – Casey Rt. 29X Milford Express Rt. 30X Beechmont Express Rt. 32 Delhi – Price Hill Rt. 64 Westwood – Ferguson Rt. 67 Sharonville Connection Rt. 75X Anderson Express Rt. 77X Delhi Express Rt. 78 Springdale – Vine/Lincoln Heights Reduced fare, more service to jobs at Kings IslandThe Rt. 71/71X – Kings Island Job Connection/Kings Island Direct will have additional seasonal service added to provide access to jobs at Kings Island. The fare on Rt. 71 Kings Island Job connection/Kings Island Direct only will be reduced to $2.25 each way (currently $4.25) through Oct. 30, 2012, thanks to federal Job Access Reverse Commute (JARC) grant funding awarded through the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments. UPDATE, AUG. 22: The Weekday service for the Rt. 71X direct trips (renamed the Rt. 72) were eliminated for the Aug 20, 2012 new pick. We also eliminated the reduced fare for the Rt. 71X Job Connection trips, reverting back to the $4.25 fare during the weekdays. The Rt. 72 direct fare on the weekends are still $2.25 until Oct. 30, 2012. New bus schedules are now available on www.go-metro.com. Printed schedules will soon be available in the Mercantile Building, 120 E. Fourth Street, across from the Government Square transit hub, on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Metro representatives will be at the Government Square downtown transit center on Friday, June 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., distributing new schedules to riders and answering questions.
