Several Metro Express Routes to Have Downtown Re-routing During Spring Service Change
Metro spring service changes will include downtown re-routing of several Metro express service routes effective Monday, March 7, 2016.CINCINNATI –Metro spring service changes will include downtown re-routing of several Metro express service routes effective Monday, March 7, 2016. Rts. 14X, 15X, 23X will be removed from Walnut St. to Race St. (morning trip) and Vine St. (afternoon trip) and will stop at Government Square Area E instead of Area D. Rt. 30X & 75X based on public comment, will operate on Race St. instead of Walnut between 6th& 5th Streets. Rt. 40X will operate on Broadway instead of Main between 5th and 9thStreet and stop at Government Square Area E instead of Area G. Rt. 67 will operate on Broadway instead of Main between 5th and 9thStreet and stop at Government Square Area F. Rts. 71X & 72 will operate on Sycamore, 4th and 5th Streets instead of Walnut and 7thStreet and will stop at Government Square Area E instead of Area B. Rt. 74X based on public comments, will operate on Race instead of Walnut between Central Parkway and 7th St. in the afternoon. Rt. 77X this route will be removed from Main and 9th Street. It will be added to Sycamore and 4th Street and will stop at Government Square Area F instead of Area G. Rt. 82X based on public comment, will operate on Race St. instead of Walnut St. For a map of Government Square, click here.
