St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy for low-income individuals without insurance

The St. Vincent de Paul Charitable Pharmacy provides assistance to low income individuals who don’t have insurance.  They provide referrals for a primary physician, and can fill (they say) 90% of all prescription requests, free of charge. They accept clients throughout Hamilton, Clermont, Warren and Butler counties.

They can only accept 12 new clients per day, so one must arrive early to get on the rolls.  They are open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (and Saturdays for existing clients) from 8:30 a.m. to noon.  Phone number is 513.562.8841 extension 230 for questions about the program.  They are located on Bank St. downtown.

I have directed a number of my adult case management clients there, and I have never heard a complaint.  This is a helpful transitional resource, they give the client 6 months of continuing care, with the expectation that a more long-term solution will be found in that timeframe. Their website is www.svdpcincinnati.org/Programs_and_Services/Charitable_Pharmacy/
