Service Improvements and Route Adjustments Coming to Metro This Summer

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance Metro’s service, starting May 31, 2026, several Metro fixed routes will see minor schedule and/or route adjustments.

Scheduling Adjustments
Scheduled times for Rts. 3X, 4, 6, 10, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 27, 29X, 30, 31, 32, 33, 37, 38, 41, 43, 51, 64, 65, 74X, 75X, 77 & 78 have been slightly modified to better reflect changing real-world traffic conditions, passenger loads, and summer school schedules.
Rt 71X will also add trips to serve Kings Island in the evenings and on weekends.
Route Adjustments
Rt 21: Minor route adjustments in Cheviot to improve service.
Rt 27: Downtown routing has changed due to the continued closure of the Linn Street Bridge.
Rt 77: Downtown routing has been updated to continue serving areas affected by Rt. 27’s detour.

Physical bus schedules may be picked up at the Metro Sales Office, located downtown in the Mercantile Building, at 120 E. Fourth St., across from Government Square. The Sales Office is open weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For additional information, call Metro’s Customer Care Center at 513-632-7575, open weekdays from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Transit App, EZAlerts & Printed Schedules
The Cincinnati Metro Bus Service uses “The Transit App,” which allows riders to plan trips, track buses in real time, and pay fares using the Tap&Save fare capping system, guaranteeing you never pay more than $4.40 per day on local routes. You can also sign up for Cincy EZAlerts for detour and service alerts tailored specifically to your routes. Complete schedule and fare information is available on the Metro website. For on-demand trips, use the MetroNow! app to book and manage your ride.
