CRC Hosting Teen Recreation Nights Saturdays Starting June 8th
|
Recreational events provide teenagers with opportunities to socialize and make new friends, promoting a sense of community and belonging. They also offer a healthy outlet for stress relief and relaxation, helping teenagers maintain a positive mental health and well-being. Engaging in recreational activities can also help teens develop important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.
The Cincinnati Recreation Commission is hosting a Teen Recreation Event every Saturday night starting June 8th. The events will be held at the Lincoln Heights Recreation Center and the Hirsch Recreation Center, every Saturday night from 3 PM to 11 PM. The Lincoln Heights Recreation Center is located at 1027 Linn Street. The Hirsch Recreation Center is located at 3630 Reading Road.
Events are geared for teens, ages 12 through 17, and include music, swimming, hair braiding and trims, basketball, video games, and more. A flyer is available to download and give to interested parties.
For full schedule, visit the CRC programs web page.
You can find more teen recreational resources by selecting the “Youth Development” and or “Recreation” category tabs on our Social Service “Utilization Library” page.
