Amazon Accepts SNAP EBT

Amazon now accepts SNAP EBT which enables people with this benefit to shop from home and have groceries delivered, in many qualifying cases without any delivery charges. Needless to say, this is a great help across many situations: for folks with disabilities or large families or using public transportation or needing to maintain social distance given an immunodeficiency. To participate in the benefit add your SNAP EBT card to your Amazon account (see link below). You will then be able to use SNAP EBT on eligible food items. If you purchase over $25 in eligible items delivery is free. Amazon has a “Amazon Fresh” service that includes same-day delivery of fresh produce and meat in many areas, and this service provides free delivery when you purchase over $35 in eligible items. Click here to learn more about connecting your EBT card to your amazon account and the benefits of doing so. Amazon also offers a discounted rate for Amazon Prime if you have SNAP and/or Medicaid, you can learn more about this in a previous article we posted here.
