In the event of significant ice or snow, Metro will still run service, but detours and delays may occur. Updated service information is provided through the following outlets:
Metro Transit App. Alerts about route changes are provided on the Transit app, including information about detours and service interruptions for their route. Metro customers can subscribe to alerts by pinning their favorite routes within the Transit app.
The Scheduling Section on Metro’s Website. In addition to the Transit App, real-time bus-tracking is also available on the individual route pages of the Metro website.
Metro’s Detour Blog. Metro’s website also has a blog that provides detour information.
Metro’s Customer Care Center. Metro’s Customer Care Center is open weekdays from 6:30 AM to 9 PM and 8 AM to 5 PM weekends and holidays. They are available to share the latest service information by phone if one prefers not to use the website or app. Their phone number is 513-632-7575.
IMPORTANT: Please note that Metro buses cannot stop safely on snowy or icy hills. Customers should board at the top or bottom of hills.
You can find additional transportation resources by selecting the “Transportation” category tab on our Social Service “Utilization Library” page.
