Free Assistance with Medicaid & SNAP Applications

Completing an application for Medicaid and SNAP services can be incredibly challenging for individuals with poor education or limited literacy skills. Additionally, those with physical or mental disabilities may face barriers in understanding and filling out the necessary paperwork. Busy schedules, especially for individuals juggling work and childcare responsibilities, can also make it difficult to find the time to navigate the application process effectively.

HealthSource of Ohio offers FREE over-the-phone assistance with Medicaid, Emergency Medicaid, and SNAP applications to anyone who is a U.S. citizen and Ohio resident. They have an Online Referral Form for interested parties, and can also be reached by phone at (513) 707-9901.

You can find more Medicaid and Child Development resources by selecting the “Medicaid” and or “Child Development” category tabs on our Social Service “Utilization Library” page.
