FREE Mental Health First Aid Training for Teens

The Mental Health First Aid Collaborative is offering a FREE Mental Health First Aid Training for Teens in Ohio and Northern Kentucky. The trainings teach teens in grades 10 through 12, or ages 15 through 18, how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among their friends and peers. The trainings are offered both online and in-person.

Interested parties may learn more and register for the online session using their online registration form. The online session is being held Tuesday March 12th, from 12:30 to 1:15 PM.

There are two in-person training locations, one in Erlanger Kentucky, the other in Cincinnati. The Erlanger in-person training options are February 27th, and March 3rd from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Erlanger Northeren Kentucky Library, located at 401 Kenton Lands Road. Registration for the Erlanger sessions is FREE and can be completed using their online registration form.

The Cincinnati in-person training options are February 29th, March 7th, and March 14th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, located at 2350 Auburn Avenue in Cincinnati. Registration for the Cincinnati sessions is FREE and can be completed using their online registion form.

These trainings are available for teens or allies from the LGBTQ+ community ages 15 through 18 years old.
