FREE Metro Bus Rides on Primary Election Day, March 19

All Metro services will operate fare-free on primary election day. In an effort to encourage voter participation and ensure accessibility of Hamilton County voters to polling locations, all fixed-route, Access paratransit, and MetroNow! on-demand trips will be fare-free on March 19, 2024, for the upcoming primary election in Ohio.

Metro fixed-route buses will operate on regular schedules on primary election day, providing reliable transportation to polling stations across Hamilton County. Access paratransit services will also be available for eligible individuals with disabilities who require door-to-door transportation. Additionally, MetroNow! on-demand trips will be offered fare-free, providing a convenient and flexible option for voters.

Metro will also offer fare-free rides for the general election on November 5, 2024.

Riders may download the Transit and MetroNow! apps to plan their trips, pay fares and track their ride in real-time from the convenience of their smart phone. One may also sign up for Cincy EZAlerts for detour and service alerts tailored specifically to the routes one rides. You can also get complete schedule and fare information by visiting the metro website, calling customer care at (513) 632-7575, or visiting the Metro Sales Office, located in the Mercantile Building, at 120 E. Fourth Street, across from Government Square. The Sales Office is open weekdays from 7 AM to 4:30 PM. The Customer Care Center phone line is open weekdays from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
