FREE Youth Basketball Event with Cincinnati Mayor, “Queen City Slam”, Saturday August 5th

Hosted by Mayor Aftab Pur eval, & the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, there will be a 3 by 3 Team Basketball Tournament, Saturday August 5th, from 9 AM to 8 PM, in front of the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, located at 50 East Freedom Way.

The tournament has been officially named the “Queen City Slam”. There are youth and adult divisions, and the event is FREE for Cincinnati Youth Teams. Registration is available online

The registration deadline is Wednesday, August 2nd, at 2 PM. In the event of inclement weather, the location will change to the Duke Energy Convention Center, located at 525 Elm Street.

Registration for adult teams cost $100. Registration for youth teams, not from a Cincinnati zip code, cost $75. Registration for youth teams with a Cincinnati zip code is FREE (though space is limited so register soon).

​Hoop It Up 3 by 3 basketball consists of rosters with 3 to 5 players. Each participating team is guaranteed at least four games during the tournament.
