Freestore Opens Bea Taylor Market in Lower Price Hill

The Freestore Foodbank has opened an additional location of its food market services, to serve the Del hi, Lower Price Hill, and Sedamsville communities. The location is called the Bea Taylor Market, and is located at 3401 Rosenthal Way.

The market is similar to downtown’s Liberty Street location, but with different hours of operation. To accommodate working families, hours for the Bea Taylor Market are Tuesday through Thursday 11 AM to 7 PM, Friday from noon to 6 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Shoppers are welcome to come twice per month. The location is closed Last Friday of each month.

In addition to providing general grocery support, the location attempts to provide culturally specific food items for the large Hispanic population in the surrounding area, and to provide produce that is locally sourced.

To receive food assistance from the Bea Taylor Market, one must bring proof of residency and proof of the number of family members. Acceptable forms of identification include Picture ID and Household Verification. Any questions may be addressed to the staff on site, or by phone at 513-241-1064.
