More Summer Sports Camps available through the Cincinnati Recreation Commission in 2023

Summer sports camps are an essential part of childhood development, providing an opportunity for children to learn new skills, make new friends, and stay active during the summer months. For low-income families, these camps offer an affordable way to engage their children in structured physical activities that enhance their physical and mental well-being. With limited access to resources and opportunities, low-income families often struggle to provide their children with enriching summer experiences. Sports camps provide an avenue for these families to ensure their children receive high-quality coaching, training, and instruction in a safe and supportive environment. The benefits of summer sports camps go beyond just physical fitness, as they also help children develop important social skills, self-confidence, and a sense of belonging.

There are a number of Summer Sports camps available in the Greater Cincinnati area which we have been posting about this Spring. Here’s some more that are being offered through the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, for children age 5 through 12. Spots are limited so availability may change. It is therefor best to register as soon as possible if interested.
