Service Improvements and Route Adjustments Coming to Metro This Summer
|
Starting May 25th, 2025, thirteen Metro fixed routes will see minor schedule and or route adjustments. Many of these changes occur annually, corresponding to the shifts in traffic patterns that occur when school is out.

Schedule Changes
The following routes will have new schedules: Routes 4, 11, 17, 22, 24, 28, 31, 37, 41, 43, 51, and 64. Their scheduled times have been modified to better reflect changing real-world traffic conditions, passenger loads, and summer school schedules. Direct service to Kings Island will also return on Route 72X. Updated route schedules can be viewed and downloaded on the schedules page of the metro website.
Route Adjustments
Route 43 will no longer serve the Greyhound terminal in Arlington Heights. Instead, passengers can make connections by transfer via the improved Route 61 stop on Galbraith Road.
Transit App, EZAlerts & Printed Schedules
The Cincinnati Metro Bus Service has a cell phone app available, called “The Transit App“, that allows riders to plan trips, pay their fare and track their bus connections in real time. One can also sign up for Cincy EZAlerts for detour and service alerts tailored specifically to the routes one rides. All of this as well as complete schedule and fare information is available on the Metro website.
Physical bus schedules may be picked up at the Metro Sales Office, located downtown in the Mercantile Building, at 120 E. Fourth St., across from Government Square. The Sales Office is open weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For additional information, call Metro’s Customer Care Center at 513-632-7575, open weekdays from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
