7 Week Coaching to Reduce Risk of Falling, starting September 6th

A 7 week program called “Stepping On” to reduce the risk of falling will begin September 6th. The program is known to reduce falls by as much as 30%.

The classes are FREE and designed for individuals 60 and older who have fallen or are concerned about falling. In a fun environment, coaches help participants to recognize their risk of falling, and help build balance and strength. Participants gain practical skills needed to avoid a fall. They also gain confidence to stay active in the community and do the things they want to do.

The 7 week series occurs several times a year. The current session meets Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Colerain Township Senior Community Center, located at 4300 Springdale Road. Devices may be available upon request to facilitate virtual participation online via Zoom.

You can RSVP and see a list of upcoming class schedules online. There is also a pdf flyer that you can download and share with interested parties.
