Scholarships available to girls in 3rd to 8th grade interested in summer sports camps.

There are a number of Girls Sports Camps available this summer which build confidence and relationship skills. The local nonprofit Girls With GRIT has a 2023 summer sports camp program which includes soccer, track, volleyball and basketball. The sports camps are available to girls entering 3rd to 8th grade in the 2023/24 school year. Discounts are offered when you register 2 or more girls, and scholarship opportunities are available for low income families.

Each sport has a 2 or 3 day weekend clinic that is on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or just Saturday and Sunday. Following the clinic there are at least two additional sessions scheduled to help the girls work on their skills in even smaller groups. The available clinics are as follows:

Volleyball Camp is at DePaul Cristo Rey, located at 1133 Clifton Hills Avenue. This three day clinic will be June 16th (from 9AM to 3PM), June 17th (from 1PM to 5PM), and June 18th (from 1PM to 5PM). The additional sessions will be June 20th, 22nd, 27th & 29th, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM.

Track Camp is at 7 Hills Schools, located at 5400 Red Bank Road. This three day clinic will be June 23rd (from 9AM to 3PM), June 24th (from 9AM to NOON), and June 25th (from 1PM to 5PM). The additional sessions for follow-up will be July 1st (9AM to NOON) & July 2nd (1PM to 5PM).

Soccer Camp is also at 7 Hills Schools, located 5400 Red Bank Road. This two day clinic will be July 15th (from 9AM to NOON), and July 16th (from 1PM to 5PM). The additional sessions will be July 22nd (9AM to NOON) & July 23rd (1PM to 5PM).

Basketball Camp is at Pleasant Hill Academy, located at 1350 West North Bend Road. This three day clinic will be July 28th (from 9AM to 3PM), July 29th (from 1PM to 5PM), and July 30th (from 1PM to 5PM). The additional sessions will be August 5th (9 to NOON) & August 6th (1PM to 5PM).

The Camp Registration Form is available online. Each camp cost $50 per sport, per camper. A camper may be registered for as little as one sport or as many as all three sports.
