Weekend Bus Detours Due to Flying Pig Marathon

The Flying Pig Marathon takes place this weekend, May 4th and 5th, with many Metro routes operating on detour. This can result in longer than usual delays for those reliant on the bus for transportation needs this weekend. The following is a list of known detours taking place this weekend due to the city’s flying pig marathon activities.

On Saturday, May 4th routes 27 and 28 will be detoured from approximately 6:30 AM until 3 PM. 

On Sunday, May 5th, from approximately 5 AM until 3 PM the following Metro routes will be detoured downtown:

Routes 4, 11, 16, 17, 19, 20, 28 inbound, 43, 46, and 78, will all board at 9th at Vine.

Routes 6, 21, 27, 32, 33, 49, and 64, will all board on 9th, past Vine.

Route 24, Route 31, and Route 51 will also be on detour in areas along the race course.
