Summer Meals and Snacks Available for Youth at Local Libraries

At most Hamilton County Library locations free meals and snacks are available during the summer, Mondays through Fridays. The meals are provided through a partnership with UMC Food Ministry which receives federal funding through the USDA Food & Nutrition Service.

All children ages 1 through 18 are eligible to receive the free meals and snacks. Individuals ages 19 through 21 who have been identified as having mental or physical disabilities and are following Individualized Education Programs (I.E.Ps) through their current enrollment in educational programs also are eligible for free meals. The only other requirement is that children eat the meals and snacks provided while at the library.
